How do I apply for Accommodation?
To apply for accommodation, please telephone us at 061-330194 Monday - Friday 9.00am to 5.00pm to discuss this with us.

What do I need to apply for Accommodation?
You will need to fill an application form giving details of your course, some personal details including home address, date of birth, contact telephone numbers, parents/guardians names etc. A booking fee of €250.00 is required with the application form and is held as a damage deposit until the end of the academic year.

How much is the rent and how do I pay?
Your rent per semester/term is €2400.00 and may be paid weekly or monthly in advance if arranged with management. The first payment is due in September, before you move into your room. The rent for the second semester/term is due in January prior to commencement of term.

What is included in the rent?
Your rent covers your occupancy for the week/month/semester. Breakfast and Evening meal are included in your rent. Your bedroom has a bed, desk, chair, bookshelves and wardrobe and en-suite bathroom. Broadband internet is available in each room and is included in your rent.

What do I need to bring with me?
You will need to bring your own bed linen (no sleeping bags).

When can I Check-In and at what time?
Check in time is from 4.00pm - 7.30pm. For earliest check in date for the Academic Year 2023/24 please telephone during office hours 9.00am - 5.00pm, 061 - 330194.

Can I check in if I have not paid my rent?
Yes, but only if you have paid your deposit and have made prior arrangements with management regarding payment.

Where do I get my swipecard?
Your swipecard can be collected from reception upon arrival.

Can I park my car?
There is free car parking facilities for all students who are resident with us.

What if I change my mind or find alternative accommodation?
You will forfeit your booking fee should you wish to cancel your booking with us. Notice of cancellations must be made to Management in writing by email/fax within 3 days of the CAO results being issued.

Will there be enough accommodation?
We have 26 rooms available but we suggest you should make your reservation as early as possible.

How far is it to the University Campus?
Salesian Student Residence is located next to the University of Limerick Campus and we are approximately 3 minutes walking distance from Lecture Halls, Sports Arena and Campus Facilities.

How far is it to the City Centre?
The City centre is about 15 minutes by bus/taxi. There is a regular bus service from the bus stop nearby.
